Comcast Surprises 100 Youth Volunteers with Laptops on Minneapolis’s North Side

Comcast, in partnership with Seeds to Harvest, sponsored the finale of “100 Days of Summer” last Sunday in Minneapolis’s North Side. We celebrated in North Commons Park alongside 100 youth volunteers, dozens of community members and 400 kid participants. Our attempt at breaking two world records fell short, but the day was triumphant—it solidified the park as a haven for safe play, sports and volunteer projects after a year of social unrest.

After witnessing this amazing accomplishment, Comcast was proud to support North Minneapolis and the positive impact Seeds to Harvest Service Coalition, OneMN and Playworks are having in the community.

The Northside Bulldog Youth volunteers that dedicate their free time to improve their community are essential to the success of “100 Days of Summer.” In recognition of their efforts, Comcast surprised each of the volunteers with laptops and backpacks. Now, they can enter this school year with all the tools they need to thrive.
