Comcast Donates More Than 600 Toys & a $10,000 Grant to Toys for Tots

The holidays are a time for giving and the spirit of the holidays is also about giving to those in need. For the first time, Comcast participated in the annual Toys for Tots donation drive—a key mission of the Marine Corp. Reserves. From November 22 to December 12, Comcast customers and employees could drop off unwrapped toys at any one of our 15 Xfinity Retail location in the Twin Cities, their assigned Comcast facility or purchase via our Amazon shopping list.

“Over the past several weeks, Comcast has collected toys from our awesome customers and employees across the Twin Cities,” said Kalyn Hove, Regional Senior Vice President, Comcast. “Comcast is dedicated to supporting the community in meaningful ways and we were thrilled to be a part of Toys for Tots and be a drop off location this year for the first time.”

The Comcast team appeared on KARE 11 to make the official toy donation of more than 600 toys along with presenting Toys for Tots with a $10,000 cash contribution for their holiday needs.

Toys for Tots continues to look for donations from the Twin Cities community. If you are interested in supporting you can learn more here.
